The Greatest Battle That Never Happened!
[Monday, 4th May
2015]: The exciting and thrilling
first trailer of Pakistani-American Hollywood actor Faran Tahir’s latest upcoming movie, Flight WWII, is out! The film, which starts off being set in present
times, tells the story of a modern day 757 fight en route from Washington D.C to
London which gets caught up in bad weather, and mysteriously ends up traveling back
in time to WWII Germany in the year 1940. How the airplane’s staff struggles to
keep passengers alive, safe and somehow fly them back home, forms the basis of
the rest of the story.
The flight finds itself caught in a battle between Allied
and German Forces and in their desperation to return home safely, those on
board manage to turn the tide that wins the war in Europe. The story is based
on true events.
Speaking about his character in the movie, Faran states, "I play the lead - the Pilot Mr. Strong. An ordinary flight from
Washington D.C. to London is hit by a freak lightening storm and somehow, going
back in time, ends up flying over WWII Germany. My job is to bring everyone
back home safely. I really enjoyed doing this film and hope audiences enjoy
watching the movie just as much".
As the trailer suggests, Flight WWII is a perfect blend of
