Pepsi Unplugged – ‘The Fall Edition’

On the 2nd October 2015, Hasan Rizvi marked the one-year anniversary of Pepsi Unplugged; a platform created for the revival of music. We are pleased to announce that at this Fall Edition we had not one but two internationally acclaimed artists. Our very own super talented Singer/Song Writer/Actress/Host, Komal Rizvi kicked off the evening followed by the international megastars, JoSh the band. If that’s not enough, BB PR & Events is honored to announce that we featured our first collaborative duet of Komal Rizvi & Josh at the event. The song “Desaan Da Raja, Mere Babul Da Payara”, from a Punjabi film in the 1950s, was revamped only to develop this latest Punjabi track. Our guests were the first to witness history in the making. The blue carpet was hosted by the dynamic model/anchor/performer, Fia Khan who rocked the look in Zaheer Abbas while Komal Rizvi was styled by Beenish Pervaiz and wardrobe by Tena Durrani.

The star-studded evening hosted many celebrities and socialites from the likes off Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, Asad ul Haq, Anoushey Ashraf, Shahzad Shiekh, Zira Tareen, Nadya Mistry, Nausheen Shah, Aamna Aqueel, Mustafa Changezi, Abbas Jaffery, Sana Ansari, Amina Malik, Nazia Malik, Zoe Viccaji, Tabssum Mughal, Ovais Jaffer, Momal Shiekh, Farooq Mengal, Saba Ansari, Faizan Haquee, Fatima Syed, Anila Murtaza, Rukiya Adamjee, Deepak n Fahad, Beenish Pervaiz, Shazia Naz, Khalid Malik, Mansoor Akram, Mantaha Tareen, Humayoun Alamgir, Kiran Khan, Saira Kabeer amongst many others.

Komal Rizvi, is a Multi-Talented performer, national award winner, actor and singer. She is the first female artist to launch a solo international album in India & Pakistan. Her 3 songs are in the top 20 hits of Coke Studio Pakistan in all seasons. Komal has toured all over the world and is known as one of the top female vocalists and stage performers in the nation and is currently known for her moderns Sufi - Rock style.
JoSh a is Canadian Indo-Pakistani Bhangra music band formed in Montreal in 2000. Josh consists of Rupinder and Qurram Hussain and specializes in traditional bhagra beats. Their second album stayed on the MTV to 20 list for 26 weeks in a row. They have also collaborated with the Grammy winner Nelly Fertado for Powerless launched in India.

Unplugged is a series of invitation-only events introduced by Hasan Rizvi CEO – BodyBeat Group. These events are hosted at high-end venues with performances by our country’s most established and recognized performers. Some noteworthy names in previous events have had performances by Zoe Viccaji, Komal Rizvi, Club Caramel, Fuzon, Ali Azmar, noori and JAL amongst others.

This edition’s was held on Friday, 2nd October 2015 and the blue carpet will be hosted by super model, Fia Khan. Our 2016’s plan are even bigger with several international artists performing on the Unplugged platform. We aim to host Unplugged in both Lahore, Karachi & Dubai in 2016.
