SAIRA SHAKIRA OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE IN LAHORE

 

THE NEW LUXRY PRET COLLECTION, ‘LE CIEL’, REVEALED TO THE PUBLIC ALONG WITH BRAND’S READY-TO-WEAR, OFF THE RACK FORMALS AND BRIDALS

[Lahore: February 28, 2016]Fashion designer duo Saira Shakira celebrated the successful launch of their flagship store at the prestigious Gulberg Galleria mall in Lahore this weekend on Saturday, February 27, 2016.The store is designed by Architects Inc and is spread over three floors where their new Spring/Summer 16 Luxury Prêt collection 'Le Ciel’ was showcased along with the brand’s Ready-To-Wear, Off-The-Rack Formals, and Bridal collections.

The launch event was attended by fashion designers, stylists, models, socialites and renowned media personalities including Faraz Manan, HSY, Naz Mansha, ShaziaDeen of Neemar, Rana Noman Haq, Asifa of Asifa& Nabeel, Munib Nawaz, Zarmisha Dar, Sara Rohale Asghar, Ayesha Fazli, ZarminaMasud, Huma Khan and Natasha Saigol. Zara Peerzada was the host for the evening while Cybil Chowdhry and Alyzeh Gabol modelled the brand’s latest creations.The event was managed by Savvy with Public Relations by Amjad Bhatti.

Speaking at the launch of their flagship store, Saira Faisal and Shakira Usman said: “Today we celebrated a new milestone for the brand with our friends and family. We are delighted by the response from the public about our new collections and the store’s set-up. This move was planned over the past year and now with this new store we are ready to extend our clientele to cater to everyone’s taste and budget with a range of collections. Our new line, “Ysatis”, is in the pipeline which will be debuted at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week on March 10. Saira Shakira represents our commitment to providing quality craftsmanship and design for all. We will continue to take bridal orders by appointments at our Model Town studio and have further plans to expand to Karachi and Islamabad in the near future.”

Saira Faisal & Shakira Usman, both graduates and distinction holders from Pakistan School of Fashion Design, are the principal designers of the brand. Saira Faisal has had the privilege of working as a fashion model with the industry’s leading photographers and designers in early 2000’s while Shakira Usman is renowned for her intricate sketches. Put together, both have over a decade worth of experience in the fashion industry. They came together in 2012 to start the brand which we now know as Saira Shakira.
