Stevie Award Winners to Be Announced in New York on November 17

14th ANNUAL STEVIE® AWARDS FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS

Karachi, Pakistan – October 5, 2017:StarLinks PR & Eventswas named a Finalist in the Company/Organization awards category in the 14th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. StarLinks PR & Events is a Finalist in the Startup of the year- Business service Industries category. It gives us immense joy and pleasure to announce StarLinks PR & Events in the finalist to receive an honorable award in business.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 17.  Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the USA and several other countries are expected to attend.The event will be broadcast on Livestream.

ShanazRamzi, CEO of StarLinks, launched her career in 1994 as a freelance journalist. She joined the biggest entertainment television network of Pakistan, HUM Network as Head of PR and Publications in October 2004 and was with the organization till October 31, 2015, as the GM of these two departments, and was also the editor of all their publications including their two monthlies. She launched her own company STARLINKS PR, a PR and Event Management Company on November 1, 2015, and was engaged on retainer by high-powered clients from the 5th of the month. Within a short span of less than two years she has taken her company to great achievements, and has successfully carried out many prestigious and high-profile events, both nationally and internationally.

Since July 1, 2016, with only eight months of existence behind them, STARLINKS PR and events has steadily been growing, and has taken on one challenging assignment after another. Indisputably the biggest feather in STARLINKS’ cap, to date, has been the LuckyOne mall project and the Pakistan Women Festival to name a few. The company has been engaged on retainer by a large number of individual and corporate clients in this period as well. Many established businesses have enlisted our services, some for both PR and event management, others for just PR, or just event management.

Finalists were chosen by more than 170 professionals worldwide serving on five specialized judging committees, which will be revealed at the November 17 event in New York.
