Mizmaar Frontman Kashan Admani Officially Launches Revamped Dream Station Studios.
[Pakistan, 23rd May’18]: Kashan Admani,frontman toPakistani
pop-rock band Mizmaar, officially launched his revamped studio Dream
Station Studios recently, at an
intimate event held in Karachi, attended by many from the music
fraternity.
Dream Station Studios is the only audio
recording and post production facility in Pakistan designed by a renowned
international studio design company, with a track record of designing and
making award winning professional studios globally. The studio designer JH
Brandt ensured that the studio provides a perfect
tracking and mixing environment at par with best international studios. The Dream
Station control room features flush mounted ATCs with preamps and outboard
gear by Cranesong, Manley, Neve and Antelope, while the surround monitoring is
based on JBL Cinema Speakers and the nearfields monitoring is based on Focal
nearfields to give an immersive and cinema like film mixing experience.
The studio features a big live room and an ISO
room providing the flexibility to work on big scale live recordings to a small
jazz quartet. The acoustics of the live and ISO room help capture the true
timbre of the instruments being recorded.
The beautiful and innovative exterior facade and
lounge interior of the studio has been designed by a promising new architect Quratulain
who has done a phenomenal job on linking the design and aesthetics to the
purpose of the studio.
The launch event was attended by friends of Kashan
from the music industry including Gumby, Immu, Kamran Zafar, Omran Shafique,
Nazia Zuberi and Natasha Khan. The musicians also collaborated on an open
jam session, which gave them a feeler of
the studio’s sound system.
Sharing his thoughts regarding the studio, Kashan
shared “I am happy to be able to offer a facility that will enhance the
quality of sound and production in our film and music industry!”
