Mountain Dew brings fans closer to the action of the blockbuster franchise

Mountain Dew® in partnership with 20^th Century Fox brings this summer’s most eagerly awaited blockbuster: X-MEN: Days of Future Past that will bring fans closer to the film. BodyBeat arranged the premier show in Nueplex cinema in Karachi on behalf of Mountain Dew exclusively for the X-Men aficionados, which was attended by the crème de la crème of our industry. Many known faces attended in throngs to be part of the first day, first show.

With a star-studded international cast including Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart led by Director Bryan Singer, the seventh film in the X-MEN franchise unites stars from across the X-MEN generations for an epic cinematic journey of good versus evil.

Building on more than a decade of successful entertainment partnerships, X Men – DOFP remains Mountain Dews largest-ever international entertainment promotion. A powerful team, the Mountain Dew and X-MEN: Days of Future Past partnership sparks an immersive, fan-focused campaign by Mountain Dew, reaching the “Dew Nation” in nearly 30 countries. The promotional campaign engages consumers across virtually every imaginable touchpoint – from in-store and special commemorative packaging featuring X-MEN: Days of Future Past characters and exciting prizes, to custom cinema programs, a global television commercial and digital and social platforms sharing exclusive behind the scenes content.

With PR arranged by BodyBeat and the Red Carpet hosted by Shahid Sharif, the Red Carpet was ablaze with stars. The interactive Red Carpet also had live actors / models that the guest were eager to snap pictures with – Storm & Wolverine – both characters from the X-Men series – dressed and posing with all the celebrities. Styling for both was undertaken by N-Pro with Storm’s outfit by Sadaf Malaterre.

Despite camera crews from all major networks being present, there was a great turnout with regard to the media and blogger communities. Handled by BodyBeat – the event design & execution that was based on miesian idea of “less is more” –has yet to be seen before at any cinema premiere here before. Star-studded, jam-packed – with everyone excited about the set-up! With the design inspired by the idea of a Cerebro – silver metal walls and green LED floor / lighting with fantastically placed images – all fronted by the X logo in 3D – had people quite excitedly snapping away with their cameras!
