PRESIDENT HUM NETWORK SULTANA SIDDIQUI AWARDED “THE GR8! SCROLL OF HONOUR (MEDIA) 2015” AT THE GR8! WOMEN AWARDS 2015 DUBAI

Karachi January 14, 2014: President HUM Network and recipient of the prestigious Pride of Performance Award, Sultana Siddiqui has been bestowed The Gr8! Scroll of Honour (media) 2015 award at the Gr8! Women Awards 2015 for her outstanding achievements in the field of entertainment. Organised by the Indian Television Academy, as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), The Gr8! Women Awards is recognized across the Middle East as a platform to celebrate exemplary women who lead and inspire.

The glittering awards ceremony held at Sofitel Dubai, The Palm Resort & Spa, had in attendance Dubai’s crème de la crème including dignitaries, industry leaders, corporate heads, entrepreneurs and Bollywood luminaries including Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Nimrat Kaur, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Surveen Chawla along with regional high-flyers.

While receiving the award, Sultana Siddiqui said, “It is an honour and very humbling for me to be selected by the Indian Television Academy for this prestigious award as this is the first time that I have been recognized in this way by an organization outside of Pakistan.  I think women in Pakistan are brilliant in whatever they choose to do and very hard-working. All they need is encouragement and support from their family. At HUM Network I have surrounded myself with women in key positions and have found that they have always delivered. May this be the first of many such awards for the women of Pakistan!”

The GR8! Women Awards are a prestigious recognition of women from the entire Middle East and subcontinent region, who have risen on the stepping stones and have pushed the boundaries of personal and professional excellence. This was their fifth awards held in the Middle East.
