Press Conference and Date Announcement of 4th HUM AWARDS

Karachi, April 11, 2016:HUM Network hosted a press conference for select print and social media representatives at a local five star hotel today, to announce the date of the 4th HUM Awards, the biggest television awards in Pakistan.

The programme began with a welcome and a brief introduction by Rabya Chaudhry about HUM Awards. This was followed by a show-reelhighlighting memorable moments from the last three HUM Awards,award categories, and the nominees of the Viewers’ Choice awards. Attached is a list of the categories and nominees.

The viewer’s choice category of HUM Awards has always been popular, as it provides the fans a unique opportunity to have their voice heard.

On this occasion President HUM Network Sultana Siddiqui spoke about the Awards, and HUM’s commitment towards excellence in programming and the need to ensure that a platform exists like HUM Awards to appreciate the work of the various artistes and technical crew which make the dramas at HUM among the best in Pakistan.  She also officially announced the date for the 4th HUM Awards as April 23, 2016.

Senior Vice President Programming HUM and HUM SitarayMaimoona Siddiqui threw light on the performances that one could look forward to at the 4th HUM Awards, since they have always played a crucial role in making HUM Awards a glittering, star-studded and exciting affair.

Overall it was a memorable evening, which provided a tantalizing teaser of what can be expected at the 4th HUM Awards on April 23, 2016.
